Homemade Flour Tortillas!!!

Well, part of my experience here in Costa Rica includes the opportunity to cook all kinds of goodies! Yesterday evening Elizabeth taught me how to make homemade flour tortillas. I learned how to make corn tortillas a couple weeks ago and even made some of my own chicken empanadas. Now, we're moving on to flour tortillas, and I must admit they turned out quite well!!

Altogether, Elizabeth and I made about 40 tortillas, which of course we used to enjoy some wonderful homemade fajitas! Next on the list: arroz con pollo, gallo pinto and arroz con leche!! Perhaps with some practice I'll become a natural tica chef!!
