September 21st - Bienvenida Primavera!!

Spring is here, and on September 21st we officially welcomed it in with a party at school. Nationally, the day is celebrated by high school students who get the day off to go to a park or do something fun outdoors. The rest of us, however, could not let such a gorgeous day pass by un-enjoyed. First of all , the First Graders came to school dressed up to party. Here are some of the girls in their costumes. And here's a few boys surrounding one very dramatic Zorro. Here's the 2nd Grade class, pausing long enough from their playing for a class photo. We were lucky to have such a nice day for our picnic. Here's the English teacher for the older grades, Miriam, with one of the fifth graders. And the Sixth Grade Girls were also enjoying the sun, though opting not to join in on the boys' soccer game. All in all, it was a fun way to welcome in the much-anticipated new season...La Primavera!!!
